Poem of Norm Mac Namara (Uk), patient affected with Early Onset of Alzheimer's Disease and sharing his feelings. (english version) (4)

Keeping The Faith

Tree`s looking weary, leaves feeling old,
Flowers nipped at the edges,
From the nights cold,
Winters a coming, soon to be here,
Winds whipping round, eyes full of tears,
Seasons they change, just like in age,
Time rolls on, turning the page,
Unstoppable times, life’s just the same,
Year pass by, as we play our game,
The seasons and life are one great adventure,
The last thing we need, is this awful dementia,
But as in the seasons, it soon will be spring,
Nobody knows what this will bring,
So raise your hearts, to all that is pure,
And keep the faith, for that wonderful cure.
